The Towing Operators Protector Plan® (TOPP®) About Us

Introduced in 2008, the Towing Operators Protector Plan^® (TOPP^®) is a niche Program specifically designed for towing operations. B&B Protector Plans, Inc. is exclusive Program Manager for towing and recovery operations underwritten by Westfield Insurance. We provide coverage to towing operators in nineteen states through our exclusive distribution network.

The Industry data reflects a universe of approximately 40,000 businesses classified with towing operations as their primary or secondary operation. Our focus is on SIC 7549 - Tow Truck Operators in Automotive Services, except repair and car washes. Approximately 10,000 tow operators are eligible for the selective criteria of the TOPPTM program representing an estimated $200 million in potential premium.
